The Journey
1997: The Foundation’s first child, Kathryn Lynn Mulhollen, is born.
2000: Major grants have been received from three venerated Cincinnati foundations.
2001: The Foundation is mentioned in an Associated Press article.
2003: The topic of infertility and the Foundation receive national attention in The Washington Post: “A Special Kind of Poverty,” by Liza Mundy.
2006: A feature article about the Foundation appears in Woman’s World national magazine.

2010: Gift of Life is featured on the cover of a special Lifetime Achievement edition of Fortune Magazine.
2010: Cincinnati Business Courier profiles Gift of Life in the Philanthropy section.
2011: Gift of Life children continue to give back the gift they received by raising monies for the Gift of Life Foundation and other area charities.
2012: GE and IBM recognized The Foundation through employee matching gifts programs.
2013: Gift of Life is featured in color on the front page of the Cincinnati Enquirer in honor of Mother’s Day.
2016: A milestone has been reached. The Foundation welcomes baby #60.
2020: The Foundation celebrates its 25th Anniversary.
2021: Another milestone has been reached. The Foundation welcomes baby #75 and is “expecting” more!
2022: We will be welcoming baby #85.
We are expecting our first grandchild. Our babies are having babies.
2023: We are expecting baby #93. On September 8th, the Gift of Life Foundation received front-page recognition in the Cincinnati Enquirer.
2025: Celebrating 30 Years and 100+ Babies!
